We consider the Sephora Collection Trio Contour Face Palette the perfect pick for anyone who's new to contouring. Both Light-Medium and Medium-Deep palettes come with two complementary contour hues and a satin highlighter. However, it doesn’t make sense to have a shimmery blush when there’s also a highlighter in the palette. Would be much more usable if the blush was matte or natural finish and I could layer the highlighter as required.

It was ever-so-slightly firmer than the average gel-powder hybrid formula, which already require using a denser, slightly more moderate-to-heavy hand approach (but then they have no powderiness and seem to “melt” on skin a bit).

Like the two all in one palettes she just released. I can’t wear either one because they are too light and im not even deep toned. So maybe this is her making up for the fact that she hardly releases any palettes that is brown girls can wear. Nudegasm (Super Sculpt) is a dark brown with warm, reddish undertones and a matte finish. It had mostly opaque, buildable pigmentation paired with a slightly firmer, somewhat stiff consistency. I found it seemed to yield more product readily after a few uses, but it sometimes required some pushing to dislodge powder from the pan’s surface, which made it harder to control how much product I picked up each time.
This was the least warm-toned shade that I've swatched within the formula, so I could see it being more versatile across undertones as a result. The texture was smooth, lightweight, thin, and fluid without being watery (more like a cross between water and gel), which helped it blend well with moisturizer, primer, or foundation or be spread across larger areas (like all over the face). The doe-foot applicator made getting just a touch out easier for highlighting the high points of the face, though it was less useful for getting product for mixing in. While Smashbox's Step-By-Step Contour Kit only comes in Light/Medium and Medium/Dark colorways, the contour shades are highly pigmented and work for most skin tones. Plus, the highlighter shade in the palette is ideal for brightening and setting your undereyes.
